As a creative director my responsibilities is for overseeing all creative products produced by the company. I ensure all creative content is produced to a high-quality for my clients and oversee the entire creative team, including copywriters, marketing director and designers.

 

I will also help implement creative campaigns that are align with your company brand.

 

Creative Director Duties & Responsibilities

 

•Develop advertising campaigns for clients.

•Manage a large team of creative writers and designers.

•Assign projects to individual team members.

•Ensure all projects are on track creatively.

•Work cooperatively with account executives and clients.

 

With my 14 years’ experience in the creative industry I'm highly imaginative and an effective manager of talent. I can help formulate creative ideas for copy and design at the beginning stages and help see the project to the very end successfully. I can be more hands-off and provide feedback to the team members to help projects move forward successfully.

As Creative Director for the Urbanist Brand. The Urbanist approached me to help launch to market the fashion concept and fashion brand into the UK market. Based in Africa they wanted to launch their fashion label into the UK Wholesale niche and small boutiques market. They had the initial brand concept and idea they needed help with implantation of the idea into a solid brand identity.

My Project Task

 

Market research to establish company fit and niche for the UK market. Research to source the size of the market, market penetration time and costings involved in establishing brand awareness and brand market saturation.

The creation of a design team to help turn the Urbanist fashion designs into actual wearable unique pieces. i.e.

 

Source and interview for designers for the creation of fashion drawings, pattern cutting and designs.

 

The sourcing of material for garments and negotiating factory production space for the mass creation of finial fashion pieces.

 

Booking of Models to showcase fashion garments for photoshoot for website image placement.

Organisation and planning of a fashion show event for local press, wholesalers and boutiques.
